Scholarships for Engineering Majors

Engineering is a vast and varied field. And that variety is reflected in the wide range of scholarships available to students pursuing, or who plan to pursue, degrees in engineering. These include scholarships for civil engineering majors, electrical engineering majors and mechanical engineering majors, to name just a few. Professional organizations, such as the American Society of Civil Engineers, fund many engineering scholarships. Others are offered by various foundations seeking to encourage students to pursue careers in the ever-growing STEM fields. Depending on the scholarship, applicants may need to be majoring in a specific subfield, such as chemical engineering, computer engineering or mining engineering, to qualify. The application process may include submitting transcripts, a resume or CV, letters of recommendation and, in some cases, an essay. Take a look at our list below to learn more about the engineering scholarships available to you.
