Scholarships for Public Adminstation Majors

A degree in public administration can lay the groundwork for a variety of public-sector leadership positions. But before you can start working for the good of the community, you need to figure out a way to pay for college. One way to do this is by applying for a scholarship. Professional groups, government agencies and nonprofit foundations, among others, all offer scholarships for public administration majors. Eligibility requirements vary; but, applicants may need to meet a minimum GPA and/or have financial need. Submission of letters of recommendation, a personal statement and academic transcripts may be part of the application process.
