Scholarships for Chemistry Majors

As demand for STEM professionals increases, so do the scholarship opportunities for students majoring in those fields. That includes scholarships for chemistry majors, which are awarded by local community foundations, professional associations, corporations and other organizations. These scholarships often require students to meet a minimum GPA requirement. Also, submission of an essay, letters or recommendation and examples of relevant work may be part of the application process. In some cases, students must be nominated by a faculty member to be eligible. Financial need may be considered, as well as membership in groups underrepresented in the field.
