Track and Field Scholarships
If you’re a Track and Field athlete, then you already know what it means to keep pursuing your goal until you cross the finish line. Trying to pay for your college education, however, can sometimes seem like an uphill race. Luckily, several Track and Field scholarships are available. Some are offered by large organizations such as the National Collegiate Athletic Association and the Gautt Program. Others are funded by individual colleges and universities such as Eastern Illinois University, East Stroudsburg University, Indiana University and Clark College. Requirements vary from scholarship to scholarship, but potential recipients will generally need to meet a minimum grade point average, make it onto the Track and Field team at the college of their choice, provide letters of recommendation or write an essay.
