Scholarships for Kentucky Residents

Kentucky has a rich cultural heritage which lives on today in the form of bluegrass music, an annual bourbon festival and some truly legendary fried chicken. Another perk of living in Kentucky? Kentucky residents may be eligible for a number of college scholarships, just by living in the Bluegrass State. Many of the available scholarships are offered by the state of Kentucky, including the College Access Program Grant, the Go Higher Grants, the Kentucky Tuition Grant and the Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship. Others are funded by individual colleges, such as the University of Kentucky, the University of Louisville and Bluegrass Community and Technical College. Applicants may need to meet a minimum grade point average, display a certain level of financial need or write a submission essay.
