Scholarships for Forestry Majors
A love of the great outdoors may be driving you to get a degree in forestry, but a concern over tuition costs might be giving you pause about pursuing your dream. Thankfully, there are a number of scholarships available to help forestry students pay for their studies. Conservation organizations award many of these, as do other national and state organizations focused on protecting forests and wildlife. Applicants for these scholarships may need to already be enrolled in an accredited institution, and they will likely need to show a good academic record and perhaps a financial need. Some scholarships require applicants to submit a personal statement about why they want to study forestry, as well. Check out the list below to start your forestry scholarship search.
