Scholarships for the Document Management Industry
As more and more documents are being stored digitally, demand for people skilled in the use of document management systems is increasing. The Electronic Document Scholarship Foundation offers several scholarships each year to encourage students to pursue careers in the document management industry. Awards typically range from $1,000 to $5,000. In many cases, students are asked to submit transcripts, letters of recommendation and an essay outlining career goals in the field of document management and how their college major will help them meet those goals. Also, students often need to maintain a minimum GPA to be eligible. Participation in extracurricular activities and relevant organizational affiliations may also be considered. If you're planning on working in the field of document management, check out the scholarship opportunities below.
