Scholarships for Wyoming Residents
Are you a Wyoming resident looking for a little help paying for college? You're in luck: Living in the Equality State may qualify you for residence-based scholarships. Some of the available scholarships are funded by the state of Wyoming, through programs including the Hathaway Scholarship Program, the County Commissioners’ Scholarships, the Arapaho Ranch Trust Scholarship and the Douvas Memorial Scholarship. Others are provided by individual universities, such as the University of Wyoming, Western Wyoming Community College, WyoTech and Central Wyoming College. In addition to the residency requirement, applicants may need to meet a minimum GPA to qualify. Financial need or minority status also may be considered. The application process may include submitting transcripts, letters or recommendation and an essay. If you’d like to learn more about scholarships for Wyoming residents, continue reading below.
