Scholarships for Social Science Majors

Social science majors can go on to pursue a variety of fulfilling careers - from social worker to sociologist. If you’re a social science major looking for ways to cover the cost of your education, you may want to consider applying for a scholarship. In many cases, scholarships for social science majors are differentiated by career path. For example, some scholarships are available only to students planning on pursuing a career in counseling and psychology, some are available only to students pursuing a career in human services, and others are available only to students planning on pursuing a career in journalism and communications. By contrast, other scholarships, such as those offered by the Social Science Research Council, are open to any student majoring in a social science.
