Scholarships for Science Majors

College graduates with science degrees are some of the most sought after in the workforce today. But to cash in on a science degree, you first need to pay for it. Luckily, there are tons of scholarships available to help students fund their science educations. As an academic discipline, science is divided into specialties – biology, chemistry, geology and so forth. As such, most scholarships are geared toward a particular science specialty. These scholarships may be offered by companies and science-minded foundations. Common requirements to be eligible for these scholarships include academic achievement – often with a minimum GPA requirement of 3.0 or above – and a demonstrated interest in a particular area of science.
