Scholarships for Naturalized U.S. Citizens
If you’re a Naturalized Citizen of the United States, then you might be able to enjoy more than just U.S. citizenship: you may also be eligible for one or more college scholarships. Many of the available scholarships are provided by various organizations and foundations, such as the Arab American Institute, the Chicana/Latina Foundation, the Asian Pacific Fund, the Hellenic Times Scholarship Fund, the Order Sons of Italy in America, the Kosciuszko Foundation, and the Organization of Chinese Americans. Others are offered by individual colleges and universities such as Ohio State University and the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Requirements may vary, but applying students will generally need to provide documentation of their naturalization, submit official transcripts, meet a minimum grade point average, display a certain level of financial need and belong to a certain ethnic group.
