Scholarships for Life Sciences Majors
Life sciences majors love the study of living organisms, from biology to zoology. What they usually don’t love is finding ways to pay for their higher education. To help out with that, life sciences students can apply for any of a number of scholarships tailored to their degree. Many life sciences programs at accredited universities offer scholarships to enrolled students. Private foundations, local service clubs and industry organizations also offer scholarships to aspiring life scientists. Requirements for these scholarships usually include good academic standing (often a GPA of 3.0 or higher), demonstration of financial need, and a student-submitted essay outlining academic and career goals. Some scholarships also include an internship or research component. Check out the list of life sciences scholarships below to find one that works for you.
