Scholarships for Human Services Majors
Students working towards a degree in Human Services likely care deeply about the people and communities around them, and want to make a career out of working in public services and outreach. But such a noble goal doesn’t make college any cheaper, which is where scholarships come in. There are a number of scholarships awarded specifically to Human Services Majors. Some universities with Human Services programs offer university-specific scholarships to enrolled students. National professional and nonprofit organizations also provide opportunities for Human Services students to pay for their school and gain experience. To apply for one of these scholarships, you will need to provide a transcript, and you will probably have to have a GPA of at least a 3.0, perhaps higher. Some scholarships are awarded based on financial need, and others are for minority students or other groups. Use the list below to see what scholarships are out there.
