Scholarships for Great-Grandchildren of Veterans
If you’re the great-grandchild of a United States veteran, then your great-grandparents’ service may qualify you for a college scholarship. So, if you’re trying to figure out how to pay for your higher education, you might want to apply for a scholarship. Specifically, the American Legion Auxiliary Children of Warriors Presidents’ Scholarship, which is available to the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of Armed Forces veterans. In order to qualify, applicants must provide proof of their great-grandparents’ service, complete 50 hours of community service during his or her high school years and be a senior in high school at the time of application.
