Scholarships for Early Childhood Education Majors
If you’re an Early Childhood Education Major, then you already know how rewarding it can be to help children learn. What’s not so rewarding, however, is trying to figure out how to cover the cost of your college education. If you’re looking for a way to pay for your degree, you might want to consider applying for one or more scholarships. Some of the available scholarships are provided by various organizations and foundations such as Bright Horizons Family Solutions, the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the National Education Association and the National Coalition for Educational and Cultural Programs. Others are offered by individual colleges and universities with Early Childhood Education programs such as Eastern Michigan University, Walden University and the University of Memphis. In general, applying students will need to meet a minimum grade point average, obtain letters of recommendation or demonstrate a certain level of financial need.
