Scholarships for DACA Students
The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, is a United States which allows certain undocumented people who arrived in the United States before their 16th birthday to be exempt from deportation. If you are a DACA Student, you may be eligible for one or more college scholarships. Many of the available scholarships are offered by organizations and foundations such as the Council of Mexican Federations in North America, the General Board of Higher Education and Ministry, the Ford Foundation Fellowship Program and Golden Door Scholars. Others are offered by colleges and universities, such as the City University of New York. Requirements vary from scholarship to scholarship, but students will generally need to submit official transcripts, provide proof of their DACA Student status, meet a minimum grade point average or demonstrate a certain level of financial need.
