Scholarships for Baptists

Did you know that some scholarships are available to you based on your religious affiliation? If you are a Baptist, you can apply for many scholarships offered through faith-based organizations. Possibly the largest source of scholarships for Baptists is the American Baptist Financial Aid Program, administered by the American Baptist Home Mission Societies. These scholarships require that students be active members of a Baptist church for at least one year and have a minimum GPA of 2.75. Award amounts vary; funds are paid directly to the school the student will be attending. Some scholarships are offered to students seeking a career in Baptist missions or as a minister. These students must be enrolled in a seminary. Some of these funds are available only to undergraduates, while others are offered only to graduate students.
