Scholarships for Applied Sciences Majors

A degree in Applied Sciences touches on a vast array of subjects, from engineering to physics to management. Before you can go on to become a highly technical professional, however, you’ll need to pay for your higher education. If you’re looking for a way to cover the cost of your degree in Applied Sciences, you might want to consider applying for one or more college scholarships. Some of the available scholarships are offered by a variety of organizations and foundations such as the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Council of Independent Laboratories and the American Chemical Society. Others are provided by schools with Applied Sciences programs such as the American University of Applied Science, San Jose State University, the University of Colorado Denver and Utah State University. Requirements vary from scholarship to scholarship but, generally speaking, students will be required to meet a minimum grade point average, demonstrate a certain level of financial need or obtain letters of recommendation in order to apply.
