Scholarships for Pennsylvania Residents
Pennsylvania is home to one of America’s first universities – the University of Pennsylvania. The Keystone State also is home to many residency-based scholarship opportunities. In addition to residing in Pennsylvania, recipients may need to meet a minimum GPA, demonstrate financial need or have a record of community service to qualify for these scholarships, often awarded by nonprofits, corporations and individual schools. Applicants may need to submit academic transcripts, a personal essay and letters of recommendation to be considered. If you're a Pennsylvania resident – or planning to attend school in Pennsylvania – check out the scholarship opportunities below.
