Scholarships for Nutrition Majors
Good nutrition is the foundation of a healthy lifestyle, and no one knows that better than nutrition majors. Many nutrition majors go on to become dieticians or nutritionists, but it’s also possible to enter a career in healthcare, agriculture or education, to name just a few possibilities. If you need help paying for your education in nutrition, you might want to consider applying for a scholarship. A large number of the available scholarships are funded by the American Dietetic Association Foundation, while others are provided by the nutrition departments of individual universities, such as Iowa State University, Michigan State University and the University of Northern Colorado. Applicants may need to be enrolled in a specific program, reside in a specific state or be a member of an underrepresented group in order to be eligible.
