Scholarships for New Jersey Residents
Beautiful coastlines, countless historical landmarks and the largest cherry blossom collection in the United States – these are some of the many things to love about New Jersey. Here’s one more: If you’re a resident of the Garden State, you may be eligible for one or more college scholarships. Many of the available scholarships are funded by the state itself, including New Jersey Tuition Aid Grants, the Educational Opportunity Fund, NJ Stars and NJ Gear Up. Others are provided by individual schools, such as Princeton University, Rutgers University, the New Jersey Institute of Technology and Bergen Community College. Applying students are generally required to meet a minimum grade point average, and may also need to display a certain level of financial need, demonstrate academic achievement or write a submission essay.
