Scholarships for Montana Residents
As the home of Glacier National Park, Yellowstone National Park and countless snow-capped mountains, Montana has a lot to offer. If you’re a resident, Montana has even more to offer, specifically college scholarships. Several of the available scholarships are offered by the state of Montana as well as the federal government, including the Best and Brightest Program, the U.S. Senate Youth Program and the Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship Program. Others are funded by individual colleges and universities, such as the University of Montana, Montana State University, Flathead Valley Community College and Montana Tech. Students applying for one or more of these scholarships will typically be required to meet a minimum grade point average, and may also need to display a certain level of financial need, demonstrate academic excellence or write a submission essay.
