Scholarships for Miami County (OH) Residents
If you live in Miami County, Ohio, you probably already know what it’s like to attend the annual Strawberry Festival, see a show at the Hobart Arena and take a tour of Carriage Hill Historical Farm. What you may not know, however, is that you may qualify for a college scholarship simply by being a resident of Miami County. Several of the available scholarships are provided by the Miami County Foundation, while others are funded by nearby individual colleges such as Edison State Community College, the University of Dayton, Miami-Jacobs Career College and Miami University. Depending on which scholarship they’re applying to, potential recipients may be required to meet a minimum grade point average, obtain letters of recommendation, demonstrate a certain level of financial need or write an essay.
