Scholarships for Mechanical Engineering Majors
Mechanical engineering is a specialty degree program that prepares students to work in a variety of technologically advanced roles. Because mechanical engineers are in high demand across all industries, many professional organizations offer scholarships to students pursuing degrees in the field. Local community foundations, corporations and colleges and universities also award scholarships for mechanical engineering majors. Many of these scholarships have minimum GPA and test score requirements. Some are limited to graduating high school students with plans to study mechanical engineering. Others are available to students already enrolled in programs. To apply, students may have to write technical and personal essays, in addition to submitting transcripts. Our list below includes many scholarship opportunities for people pursuing mechanical engineering degrees.
