Scholarships for Mathematics Majors
If you're pursuing a degree in mathematics, you may want to do some number crunching and figure out how a scholarship can help you to achieve your goal. Many different scholarships are available to mathematics majors. Nonprofit foundations, such as the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship, offer these scholarships, as do corporations, professional organizations and government agencies, such as the U.S. Department of Education. Some scholarships are reserved for graduating high school seniors, and others are available to current college students. Many programs have a minimum GPA requirement, and some require proof of leadership skills or extracurricular involvement, as well.
