Scholarships for Leadership

Leadership is an important quality. In recognition of that fact, there are a vast number of scholarships available to students who have exhibited strong leadership skills. Scholarships for leadership are offered by a variety of community foundations, nonprofits, professional groups, corporations and other organizations. Many of these scholarships are reserved for graduating high school seniors planning to attend accredited 2- or 4-year schools. Often, students are required to complete an online application and demonstrate their leadership activities. Some scholarship providers also look for extensive volunteer service and a strong work ethic. To be eligible, students also may need to submit their transcripts and meet a minimum GPA. A personal essay and letters of recommendation also may be required. Take a look at our list below to find the right leadership scholarship for you.
