Scholarships for Law Majors

Law is a rewarding, challenging field. And one of the first challenges many future legal practitioners face is paying for college. To help students surmount that challenge, many organizations offer scholarships for law majors. These scholarships may be awarded by nonprofit foundations, professional organizations and other groups, including law firms and bar associations. Eligibility requirements often include applicants meeting a minimum GPA, as well as demonstrating leadership ability and participation in service work or relevant extracurricular activities. Some scholarships are reserved for students in certain geographic areas, while others favor students planning to practice in a particular area of the law.
