Scholarships for Korean Students
Being on the honor roll or the star quarterback aren't the only ways to qualify for a scholarship. Korean-Americans can be eligible for scholarships based on their ethnic background, too. There are many scholarships available to students of Korean descent and heritage. Some of these scholarships – many of which are awarded by cultural foundations and other nonprofit groups, such as churches – are open to students from all of minority groups, while others are available specifically to Korean-American students. Eligibility requirements may include having a minimum GPA – often ranging between 2.5 and 3.0 – and having financial need. Applicants may also need to write a personal statement and submit letters of recommendation. Are you ready to start exploring scholarships for students of Korean heritage? Start with our list below.
