Scholarships for Hospitality Majors

A hospitality degree covers a wide range of career choices, including hotel, restaurant and tourism management positions. Job opportunities in the industry are plentiful, and so are scholarships available to to hospitality majors. These scholarships often are awarded by nonprofit foundations and professional groups within the field, such as Tourism Cares. Often, these scholarships require students to have a GPA of at least 3.0 to qualify. And many of them call for students to submit essays and letters of recommendation – in some instances, applicants are asked to outline their career objectives in the field.
