Scholarships for Geospatial Science Majors
The field of geospatial intelligence uses cutting-edge technology to collect vital geographical information in regards to national security. Before you can start looking out for your country, however, you’ll first need to look for ways to pay for your degree. If you’re a geospatial major, a scholarship might be able to help. Many of the available scholarships are funded by professional organizations, including the Geospatial Information and Technology Association, the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation and the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Others are provided by individual schools, such as the University of Alaska, Purdue University and Northern Illinois University.
