Scholarships for Franklin County (MA) Residents
While Franklin County, Massachusetts, is named after founding father Benjamin Franklin, you might not necessarily want to follow his example of ending your education at the age of 10. Fortunately, a number of college scholarships are available for Franklin County residents, and you might be eligible for one of them. A great number of the available scholarships are offered by the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts. Others are offered by colleges within the county, such as Greenfield Community College, as well as colleges outside of but near the county such as Amherst College, Smith College and the University of Massachusetts.
