Scholarships for Engineering Technology Majors

Engineering technology majors focus on practical subjects, such as algebra, applied calculus and trigonometry. But before they can do that, they need to focus on how to pay for college. Fortunately, there are many scholarships available to engineering technology majors. These scholarships are funded by local community foundations, professional groups and other organizations. Some scholarships are reserved for students attending 2-year schools to earn an associate's degree. Others are available to students pursuing bachelor's degrees at 4-year schools. Often, students must have already completed their freshman year to be considered. Applicants typically need to have a GPA of 3.0 or higher to be eligible, and may also be required to submit letters of recommendation and an essay.
