Scholarships for Economics Majors
The first problem of economics that an aspiring economist needs to solve is how to pay for college. Luckily, if you’re majoring in economics you may be eligible for one or more scholarships, which could help to lessen that burden. Some scholarships for economics majors are funded by national nonprofit organizations, such as the Daughters of the American Revolution, while others are funded by private companies such as Xerox. In order to apply for scholarships such as these, students may need to write an essay, provide letters of recommendation or meet a minimum grade point average.
