Scholarships for Culinary Arts Majors
Students with a passion for cooking may want to major in the culinary arts. They may also want to find scholarships to help them cover the rising costs of education. That is why a number of groups, from professional organizations to private foundations, award scholarships to culinary arts students. To be eligible, students usually need to a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 or higher, be accepted or enrolled in an accredited, post-secondary school, majoring in the culinary/hospitality field. Applicants may also have to demonstrate some foodservice experience or education and a passion in the field.
