Community Activity Scholarships

Are you the type of person who thrives on being active in your community? If so, it may help you pay for college. Local foundations and other organizations celebrate community involvement by awarding scholarships to students who have taken an active interest in their communities, including volunteering and participation in events. Usually, these scholarships are made available to students from a particular area or a particular community, such as a church or volunteer organization. Applicants usually need to submit a personal essay describing their community involvement, as well as letters of recommendation from other community members. Academic record and financial need may also be considered. Find the perfect scholarship for you from the list below.
