That’s commitment, and it’s an honorable trait that can earn you some funding for college. Many organizations, such as local community foundations and national charities, offer scholarships for students who have demonstrated commitment in their lives. They may be looking for commitment to a specific cause, such as raising awareness for a disease or organizing neighborhood cleanups, or it may be for commitment to self-improvement, like in athletics or musical talent.
