Scholarships for Architectural History Majors
Architectural history is an engaging area of study that includes both art history and architecture. And many architectural history majors go on to have careers in the area of historic preservation. If that's the academic path that you're on, there's good news: There are a variety of scholarship opportunities out there for architectural history majors. Nonprofit foundations, professional organizations and individual schools, among other groups, often fund these scholarships. In some instances, scholarships are available to students pursuing a degree in any architectural discipline, while others are reserved for students focusing on architectural history. To qualify, you may need to maintain a minimum GPA. Submission of a resume or CV, letters of recommendation and a personal statement also may be required.
