To honor the memory of Jerry Turner and celebrate his career in broadcast journalism at WJZ-TV in Baltimore, this scholarship was created. This scholarship benefits graduating high school students residing in the state of Maryland. Applicants must be pursuing study in the field of broadcast journalism from an accredited four-year college or university.
