The scholarship was established to provide educational opportunities to graduating senior of Ventura County high school or transfer student of Ventura County community college who seek to pursue a degree in agriculture at an accredited 4-year college or university, demonstrating a lifelong interest in and concern for agriculture evidenced by school and community activities.

- School:Graduating senior from any Ventura County high school
- College:Accredited 4-year college or university
- Major/Career:Study Agriculture
- Extracurricular:Demonstrate a lifelong interest in and concern for agriculture evidenced by school and community activities
- Other Benefits:Recipients may re-apply for consideration in successive years
