The scholarship was established by the Alliance for Drama Education (ADE), founded by George Kon and Walt Dulaney to promote drama education by developing and refining students cognitive and creative skills. It is available to graduating Farrington High School students who are the past or current T-Shirt Theatre member that are seeking a college education at an accredited, two or four-year, not-for-profit institution within the US

Eligibility Requirements
- Minimum GPA:2.50
- Financial Need:Required
- Other Academic Requirements:Attend as a full-time or part-time student (as determined by your schools financial aid office)
- Residence:Resident of the State of Hawaii
- College:Attend an accredited, two or four-year, not-for-profit institution within the US
- Organization:The past or current T-Shirt Theatre member at Farrington High School
- Miscellaneous:Preference to first generation college students
