Ventura County Community Foundation
The scholarship is given to a graduating senior high school or currently enrolled in Ventura County community college who are planning to attend full-time accredited four-year college or university. To be eligible, the applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 and must be a dependent child (age 24 or under) of a Ventura County agricultural worker.

Eligibility Requirements
- Age/Grade Level:Must be graduating senior high school or currently enrolled Ventura County
- Minimum GPA:3.0
- Financial Need:Required
- School:Must be graduating senior from any Ventura County high school
- College:Must enroll full-time in an accredited four-year college or university as a candidate for an undergraduate degree or currently enrolled Ventura County community college
- Miscellaneous:Applicant must be a dependent child (age 24 or under) of a Ventura County agricultural worker. Applicant must complete Additional Data Section of application and include the name of parent employer and location of work with application.

- Essay:There are specific prompts during the application process. VCCF selection committees consider student essays as narrative pictures of applicants. Essays must be a total of 500-700 words overall.
