The Lucia A. Wright Piano Scholarship

Portland Rossini Club

This scholarship was established in 2001, as a bequest of a Portland Rossini Club Member in good standing for 55 years. Applicants must perform at least two compositions, a total of at least ten minutes each representing two different periods such as Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and/or 20th/21st Century. Pianists must perform at least one selection from memory.

    These scholarship competitions are open to all residents of the State of Maine.

    Applicants must be above the age of 17 and be registered as music majors in the fall of 2016 at any accredited music school, college, or university.
