Student Research Grant in Early Childhood Language Development

American Speech-Language-Hearing Foundation

This grant was established in memory of Arlene Matkin whose professional work was dedicated to early identification and intervention for young children with language delays and disorders. This grant aims to benefit masters or doctoral (research or clinical) degree students enrolled in, or accepted for, graduate study in speech-language pathology or speech-language science. Applicants must be enrolled for full-time study for the full academic year at an academic program in the United States. Proposals must be for research to be initiated in the area of early childhood language development.
