Robert and Deborah Jacobson Scholarship
Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties
Established in honor of Robert and Deborah Jacobson, this scholarship provides assistance to graduating seniors of Palm Beach or Martin County who are planning to attend an accredited vocational school, two or four-year college or university. Applicants must be in the top 25% of college class and must have a minimum of 2200 SAT score. Applicants must also exhibit leadership and volunteerism and must complete an essay on the student's potential and sense of volunteerism.

Application Details
- Judging Criteria:Scholarship recipients are selected by the Community Foundation's Scholarship Committee on the basis of the applicant's academic record; potential to succeed; demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities; work experience; a statement of education and career goals; and unusual personal or family circumstances. Recipients are selected on an objective and competitive basis considering academic and non-academic factors. A personal interview for finalists is required. All scholarships are approved by the Foundation's Board of Directors.
