This scholarship is established in honor of Peter Jay Sharp. It aims to provide assistance to graduating seniors of Palm Beach or Martin high schools who are studying environmental or conservation related issues at an accredited vocational school, two or four-year college or university.

Eligibility Requirements
- Age/Grade Level:Must be graduating high school senior
- Financial Need:Required
- School:Must be graduating senior from Palm Beach or Martin County
- College:Must be planning to attend an accredited vocational school, two or four-year college or university
- Major/Career:Must be studying environmental or conservation related issues
Application Details
- Judging Criteria:Scholarship recipients are selected by the Community Foundation's Scholarship Committee on the basis of the applicant's academic record; potential to succeed; demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities; work experience; a statement of education and career goals; and unusual personal or family circumstances. Recipients are selected on an objective and competitive basis considering academic and non-academic factors. A personal interview for finalists is required. All scholarships are approved by the Foundation's Board of Directors.
