Silicon Valley Community Foundation
The Vadasz Family Fund created this scholarship to support high school seniors or college freshmen students. Students must be planning to pursue or enrolled in a study in the fields of science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) related studies at college or university. Applicants must demonstrate excellent academic achievement and must be involved in extracurricular activities. This is a renewable scholarship for up to four years.

Eligibility Requirements
- Age/Grade Level:Applicants can apply in their senior year of high school or freshman year in college.
- Minimum GPA:3.70
- Financial Need:Required
- Residence:Resident of Sonoma Valley District of Sonoma County, CA
- Major/Career:Planning to enroll or enrolled in a college/university to pursue a degree in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) related field
Application Details
- Judging Criteria:Award selection will be based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities and a statement of the applicants' aspirations and goals and financial need.

- Resume/Activity List:Required
- Essay:A signed and dated personal statement of your aspirations and goals.
- Recommendation Letters:Two letters of reference are uploaded by your recommenders by the February 22 deadline
- Other Materials:A completed online application;Applicable financial need documentation.
