The NYS Math and Science Teaching Incentive Scholarship was established to encourage students to pursue careers as secondary math and science teachers. This aims to benefit undergraduate and/or graduate degree level in exchange for five years of full-time employment as secondary education math or science teachers in NYS.

Eligibility Requirements
- Age/Grade Level:Awards are made to students attending school at the undergraduate and/or graduate degree level
- Minimum GPA:2.50
- Financial Need:Not Mentioned
- Other Academic Requirements:Been in full-time attendance with a minimum of 12 credits per semester;
- Citizenship:Be a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen;
- College:Be attending a college located in NYS
- Major/Career:Approved undergraduate or graduate program full-time at a degree- granting institution in NYS leading to a career as a secondary education math or science teacher;
