NBC Summer Partnership
Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA)
This program was established by NBCUniversal to provide students the opportunity to become NBC Fellows and join one of NBC's Programs for summer 2016 as interns. Students must be currently enrolled sophomores or above and on track to receive a bachelors degree or advanced degree from a college or university limited to the United States. Applicants must have a strong interest in pursuing a career in broadcast journalism.

Eligibility Requirements
- Age/Grade Level:Applicants must be currently enrolled sophomores or above and on track to receive a bachelors degree or advanced degree from a college or university; Applicants must be at least 18 years old

- Residence:Permanent resident (or U.S. citizen)
- Citizenship:U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
- College:Bachelors degree or advanced degree from a college or university (limited to the United States).
- Major/Career:Applicants must have a serious interest in pursuing a career in broadcast journalism.
- Organization:AAJA student membership is encouraged for all applicants and required for the selected partnership recipients.
- Other Benefits:The selected participants will be paid hourly for their work. A $2,000 housing stipend is available to candidates who live outside a 50 mile radius of the NBC Tri-State area offices.

- Essay:In 150-200 words,state why you want to pursue a career in broadcast journalism and what you hope to gain from the experience. In another 50 words,state how you would contribute to AAJAs mission.
- Recommendation Letters:Letter of recommendation. One should be an original, others may be copies
- Portfolio/Work Samples:Work samples. Submit work samples on DVD. Total length should be less than 10 minutes.
- Other Materials:A completed application form;Photocopy of ID or Driver's License.
