NACME Scholars (Block Grant) Program

This program was established to provide block grants to colleges and universities. These eligible colleges and universities will in return award the money to talented African American, American Indian, and Latino students enrolled in engineering. Educational Institutions who would like to apply for this program must demonstrate a commitment to minority student success and shown through their recruitment, admission, retention, education, and graduation (RAREG) of African American, American Indian, and Latino engineering students. For students to be eligible for this program, they must be high school seniors that have been accepted by the universitys college of engineering, or currently enrolled students that have completed a calculus, physics, or chemistry course, earning at least a B, and be accepted into engineering, or two-year community college transfers that have been accepted for their third year of engineering study.
