The MSU Alumni group of Bay County started this fund in 2012 to benefit students from Bay County high schools pursuing post-secondary education at Michigan StateUniversity for the first time. Applicants must demonstrate academic ability, financial need and community involvement.

  • Essay:
    Write an essay describing your most meaningful achievement(s), how they relate to your future goals, and why you are deserving of a scholarship. Essay must be between 2,500-3,000 characters (spaces do count).Please reference family member(s) involved in the Bay County MSU Alumni Club, as well as any family member whoattend/attended MSU in your essay
  • Recommendation Letters:
    Two letters of recommendation at least one letter must be school-related and one letter may be personal or professional.
  • Other Materials:
    A portrait of the applicant.Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to receive free PELL grant information and your Expected Family Contribution (EFC) number.
